CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE AND SECTIONS
By the realization of the significant scientific project we are trying to accomplish and tie up to the annual organized Conference „Secure Slovakia and the European union”. This year, we have decided to widen the contribution and outcomes of the Conference by expanding the agenda of the Conference from the “European” to “Euro-Atlantic” agenda. This has been the decision that was necessary to make considering the fact, that contemporary security challenges Europe and its partners are facing, can be effectively solved only within the common and stable Euro-Atlantic security environment composed of equivalent national partners, willing to help each other through international security cooperation instruments.
Conference topics will be divided into multiple areas, aimed at the issue of perception of different security areas, different internal security threats which could have wider impact on the European and Euro-Atlantic region. Discussion will cover different approaches to particular security threats and their perceptions and solutions, different security systems and their management in the Slovak Republic, but also within the wider Euro-Atlantic region and also Eastern Europe. The focus of the Conference is to analyze and find feasible solutions of the contemporary security problems, tasks in the field of of security sector reform, strategic communication and international security integration.
The goal of the Conference will be dedicated to relations between the nation states and institutions of the European region, while discussion will be devoted to the analysis of prevention domain, implementation of new methods of criminal analysis in all its forms while seeking relevant tools to cope with and fight negative appearances, threatening the citizens’ safety.
